Surprised he held on that long being it's Talladega .
he did get a good jump on the last restart, but he didnt get that good of a push, and that hurt him, along with him blocking the high lane while stenhouse got a great run and went low on him.

McMurray's moron move actually paid off and didn't wad up half the field this time.

The bad news is.. that's going to embolden him to keep doing stupid things like that.

Would love to see the overtime get at least five laps to call it a race.

Great seeing the stands packed.

I thought I was watching a rerun race from the mid 90s.....place was stacked deep with people.

It's not "stupid" if it works.

I can run bare copper wires across my floor from a 20 Amp breaker to a light and it'll work. It's still stupid.

It was a ridiculous move but last laps at 'dega and every driver out there makes that move. It was crazy to watch though. Elliott really cut AJ slack which was cool. Mistakes happen and that was a mistake. AJ needed to step up a bit more since he caused one heckuva wreck. Glad Elliott's car didn't go ahead and jump into the catch fence, that could have been ugly.

Good for Stenhouse. Always great to get that first win.

Up until the final laps, rather boring race. NASCAR needs to do more to create a little more separation between the cars so cars can pass. They have been running restricter plates for years but up until recently, there was always enough room to move around, pass and move foward.. i don't recall cars being so tightly packed 3 wide that you couldn't pass.... as it is right now its not racing.. not even close!

I would say that NASCAR continues to have it in for Carl Long..

But.. Yeah.. No, Carl.. You knew damn well that sponsorship wasn't going to fly.

Carl Long forced to remove sponsor logos

This was a PR stunt, probably by both sides.
