Yeah that was a great win. Busch blocking was pretty bad, so good for Blaney getting around him fair and square. Nasty crash for JJ. Luck he got that thing turned a bit to avoid a head-on into that wall.

Bummed I missed the Saturday race and the drivers doing the broadcast. Looked cool.

what busch did was completely legal. he did what he had to do to try and maintain his lead, he just didnt have the tires to make it happen. busch also gave blaney room room to race as well, and raced him cleanly.

Well, the leader gets to defend the position no doubt but running Blaney twice to the grass is too much. You get one move, one lane of movement, what Busch did was well beyond that. It worked out but Blaney could have spun him out and maybe should have.

can you prove that with a rule in the rule book? what you posted is bullcrap. the leader owns the track from top to bottom, and as such they can block, or try to block, EVERY lane on the track to keep the top spot. blaney went down to the grass to try and pass, but he could have backed off if necessary to avoid problems. both were being aggressive and doing what they had to do to try and win the race.

in the end both raced each other cleanly, blaney won and kyle busch ended up ninth.

Rule? In nascar? Nah, but any racer knows that was blocking. What you're suggesting isn't racing. Top to bottom and can block the entire track? Yipes. Sounds like Newman racing for 15th again. haha

In Indycar that's the rule but I don't believe it's the same for NASCAR.

show me a rule IN NASCAR that says the lead driver cant block the person behind them. in fact show ANY rule IN NASCAR that says the driver in front cannot block the driver behind them. what busch did was completely legal, whether you like it or not.

remember this?

it applies in real life also, get over it.

He already said there's no rule. It was still a move that only someone like Kyle Busch would do.

my point is that these are races, and the best are going to defend their position to the best of their ability. kyl busch is one of the best, so was earnhardt, darryl waltrip, bill elliot, etc. you dont win races if you let everyone go by you willy nilly.
