that was cool seeing the old plymouth out there. the really fun thing is that they black flagged him to get him off the track

and congrats to denny hamlin for winning despite missing pit lane with 51 laps to go.

What a great race! Glad to see it play out with no cautions and only eight cars finished on the lead lap, just like the old days. I'm seriously considering going next year. They're going to be celebrating the 70th anniversary of NASCAR, so that should be really cool.

Haha, the King was like 'well, if I stay out here long enough I'll get 201!' Really enjoy the color schemes, only wish they could have the old sponsors on board for the race. But oh well, cool anyway.

It would have been nice if all the cars had gone with the theme as well...

Looks like Subway is getting some blowback on dropping Suarez. Rightfully so, IMO.

It did seem like an excuse for an easy out for them. I mean, who considers Subway and Dunkin Donuts to be competitors? This isn't like Jamie McMurray chowing down on a Whopper.

Interested to see who winds up on the car at Talladega. I think that could be something of a bellweather for offseason deals. Will Arris or Stanley step up and take another race? You know that if push comes to shove, Interstate would hop on for a one-race deal with him. They have a totally rock solid relationship with JGR, even sponsoring Kyle in the races that Z-Line Designs and M&M's refused to a few years back after his suspension.

I think if you see Interstate take the race.. It's a bad sign for any team looking for a sponsor in '18. Not horrible, because there's only a month to find someone, but.. Bad nonetheless.

that does suck that subway dropped suarez, the kid is good enough to deserve a sponsor like them. perhaps interstate will step up and take subways place.

and while subway and dunkin donuts are not direct competitors, they both do have a breakfast menu, so i can see subway being a bit cross with suarez for handing out donuts at new hampshire.

perhaps dunkin donuts should start sponsoring suarez, after he does like their product.
