All conquering? Give me a break. Britney got lucky that he didn't have the same reliability problems that Lewis had. Even after having a huge lead at the beginning of the season he almost bottled it. If it wasn't for Lewis' engine grenading in Malaysia it would have been Hamilton's title.

Both are excellent drivers but the pace which Hamilton has accumulated his wins is amazing. Nico has not always shown the consistency in his lap times and will likely never keep pace with Hamilton over time.

It is fun to see a championship go late in the season without a clear winner.

I was impressed with the strategy Lewis employed near the end of the race, to slow the pace and allow Vettel and Verstappen to catch up to Nico. If their tires had been in better shape, it might have worked.

But it did, and it isn't!
