I was at the LB grand prix. I was more entertained with all the drunk people boxing it out by the convention center than the race.

Very hard hit for Sebastien Bourdais. I immediately thought of Gordon Smiley's crash when I saw it. Luckily he didn't hit the wall head on.

I remember the Gordon Smiley crash. The worst I have ever seen. The engine almost instantly crushed his body against the wall and the fence ripped off his helmet and the top of his head.

He's a beast. I was curious about how fast he was going to be, since all his career was in the karting/F3/F1 ladder in Europe... well, he was quite rapid in qualy. I too hope he does well Sunday

I'm looking forward to it, I think a good result would give him a real boost mentally, his F1 efforts have to be extremely frustrating. I'm kinda shocked at the difficulties HONDA's been having coming to terms with F1 considering what a great engine developer they've always been.

"Fernando Alonso retires after Honda engine failure."

That must be a first for Honda this year . I feel sorry for the guy.

The Honda engines have been garbage all month. Kimball, Hunter-Reay, and Alonso all blew up today.

Glad to see Dixon walk away from his crash. That was a scary wreck.
