good run for harvick today, got a jump on the last restart and ran away from the field, 17 years after his first win at this very track.

JJ is a second tier driver.. He would never have gotten the #18 ride if Labonte hadn't left for Petty. He was available. Admittedly.. He didn't do as bad as Leffler. Does anyone actually remember that? Jason Leffler was the original driver of the #11 for JGR. Only driver they fired midway through the year in Cup.

He got a jump on every restart.. He was just the class of the field. The only way he wasn't gong to win was if something like what happened to Kyle Busch in the truck race happened... Which.. HAS happened to him the past 4 years at Atlanta..

Harvick stunk up the joint. Have to give it to him, he dominates this track in laps. Hard to believe he's only won twice there. Atlanta definitely showed who's going to be the class of the field this year and who has a handle on the car so far.

I thought Chase did a good job on the busch coverage.

Larson should do well I'd think. He was the class of the field yesterday.

Brad K is good in the booth. He's definitely a natural at the media stuff.

brad seems to be a natural at dealing with people in general, pretty much always even tempered and level headed, though a bit aggressive on the track at times. i think he will continue to do well at what ever he chooses to do after he decides to hang up his helmet.

He's been dominant so far.. But.. It seems every year we talk about someone dominating in the early part of the year, and they're something of an afterthought when September rolls around.
