Yeah another snooze fest. I FFW to interesting stuff then the end. Hendricks is no where to be found. They should've kept Kahne.

Yeah I guess Roush is best of the rest(?). Still getting eaten alive by the the 4/18/78 teams. Chevy teams aren't even on the radar.

to be fair, the chevy teams are still figuring out the new body style. both ford and toyota will have similar issues next season when they change bodies as well.

Chevy teams are still figuring out new drivers.

75% turnover at Hendrick.. I think they are stuggling a bit with the new car, but it also goes to show how much Jimmie leaned on his teammates. When you had 2 top tier (Gordon and Johnson) and 2 near top tier (Earnhardt and Kahne) drivers.. Big difference between that and 1 top tier and 3 rookies. And, I still somewhat consider Chase a rookie, even though he's in his third season now?

Is really sad that Chevy took 15 of the bottom 20 positions.

chase is getting better, jimmy is still working through a slump that happens to even the best of drivers, cant win every thing you know.

driver turn over is a fact of life as well, and teams have to deal with new drivers, new crew chiefs, new crew members, etc. the chevy teams will figure things out, and they will get back to running up front and contending for wins and championships as well. i remember when ford had plenty of issues for several seasons. it took a break out season, 1985 in fact when bill elliot won eleven supers speed way races and won the winston million for ford to get back into the thick of things.

chevrolet is going to get back on top as well, they are the most populous cars on the track, and have been over the years.

Default Start Time Changed for Loudon

NASCAR has moved the start time for the NASCAR Cup Series race an hour earlier Sunday to 1 p.m. Eastern because of the threat of rain at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. AccuWeather forecasts an 80 percent chance of rain Sunday with a 50 percent chance after 3 p.m. Eastern. For an official race, NASCAR would need to complete the second stage, which would be Lap 150.

The start of the Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway is being delayed by rain. The green flag was scheduled for 1:00pm/et. NASCAR is hoping there will be a window of clear weather this afternoon. As of 2:00pm/et, Air Titans are on the track.

I bet they're not gonna get the race at the misnamed "Magic Mile" in today.

Been thinking about what I'd do if NASCAR came to me and said "here, fix the Cup Series."

I would cut 1 race at each of the following tracks:
  • Vegas
  • Phoenix
  • Texas
  • Dover
  • Kansas
  • Charlotte
  • Pocono
  • Michigan
Additionally I would drop the following venues from the schedule completely:
  • Fontana
  • Kentucky
  • Indianapolis
  • Homestead

I personally think they should cut 13 dates and add 1 (preferably a short track or a REAL road course - not that silly Charlotte roval).

24 races races over 30/31 weeks. Season starts in Mid-February and ends in Mid/Late-September.
