The track was really cool for the Clash which made it hard for the inside line to come in. Should be in low 70's Thursday and upper 70's Sunday. That could make the track more favorable to side by side racing.

have we seen an inside line that could move in the past few years? It seems like the inside has had a very tough time lately at both Talladega and Daytona.

Of course, there's a totally new package starting at 'Dega, so.. I think it will get better.. But, this is going right down the lines of what happened in 2000.. They had the old package for Daytona, it was a snooze-fest.. Then they brought out the new package for Talladega and we had 75 lead changes or so.

Logano is growing up as a racer. But not much action otherwise. Except JJ missing his spacing again.

I hope with 40 cars on the track we see some more passing.

It's always funny at Daytona to learn the drivers in their new rides. Haven't figured out McMurray yet.

Uggh. I dozed off watching the Duals. Sure hope this is not what is in store for Sunday.

Alternatively, just tune in for the last two laps Sunday and you will see all the racing there will be.

The sun is going to be extra hot if that is true.

He's not missing anything. He went through an entire season with no wins, and he's a fish out of water with a new crew chief. So now he shoves people out of the way.

Hurry up and figure that one out, because after this race, he will be a Fox commentator

Jim France channeling Vince McMahon in today's drivers' meeting. Practically begging them to use the bottom lane so the race doesn't turn into a single-file sh*tshow a la the 2000 Daytona 500.
