LOL.

DW is a fixture at FOX.. he likely only leaves when he wants to... Waltrip i can take or leave but I could listen to Mike Joy all day long.

I remember when Jamie took over for Sterlin Marlin in the Coors Light Silver Bullet.. Marlin had a good shot at the Championship that year had it not been for an injury. Jamie won early in that ride but unfortunately, not often.

For whatever reason, Jamie simply did not find victory lane often enough but I sure liked him.. one of the few drivers who didn't constantly whine and complain about the other drivers.

I think he was a fine enough driver.. My issue was that he was reckless at the plate races. Very similar to Ricky Stenhouse. You could almost count on McMurray causing the big one.

I think McMurray winning that Daytona probably had something to do with that. He probably got away with some things that race and tried the same strategy in others without as much success.

At the plate races, unless your in the front or content to ride in the back, your apt to wreck at any moment... I positively hate it when my driver is mid pack at those tracks.. Its almost impossible to ride around mid pack all day without being involved in some skirmish and Jamie was the poster child for mid pack driver...

Stenhouse has the same winners syndrome, he wins at Talladega then realizes that a plate race is likely his only shot at a win all year and goes all out, wrecking anyone who gets in his way. Stenhouse at Daytona (July) this past year was a joke. Can't remember anyone as wreckless as he was that night. But lets be honest, NASCAR loves that stuff.. that's the type of excitement that 75% of the fans want to see especially at the plate races.

Wrecks are part of the game but an unnecessary wreck at 200 mph can turn deadly and IMO, Stenhouse should have been parked a few races after those antics.

The 2019 Championship odds are out and go figure that Harvick and Busch are on top at 9/2.

Elliot and Larson coming in at a respectful 7/1. Really hoping to see a lot of dominance from the young guns this year including... Blaney, Bowman, Jones and Almirola.

I would be nice to see some changing of the guard, so to speak. Not sure i would put Almirola in the young guns category but i sure do like him. Glad he is in a solid car with a chance to win... unlike Bubba, who unless he is at a plate race, has little to no shot at winning...

and truex is going into the 19 ride at JGR.
I still give the edge to Toyota when it's Toyota vs Chevy. Chevy didn't start to come around for Chase until the end of the season.

Mike is great. When Darrel and Jeff were paired up, there was a lot of one upping each other going on, but they both seem to have settled down and have gained mutual respect for eachother
