Nationwide is out at Hendrick after this year.

This is going to be a decent litmus test for the health of the sport.

How long does it take them to find a sponsor for the car?

First Lowe's and now nationwide. Wonder who's next?

The Xfinity cars and the Gander trucks are racing at Iowa this weekend, no cup race. I've always liked Iowa. Wish they would host a Cup race. Should be some good racing this weekend.

Great track, great racing, good from a spectator standpoint.. But it is awful small. I saw a truck race out there in 2010 or 2011 or so.

That being said.. It may not be all that small for today's NASCAR.

Are the indy cars still racing there? Looks like it.. That would be a cool place for companion events.

The track is only about 30 miles outside of Des Moines.. And it's right next to an airport that has a famous death.. Marciano? Yep.. Marciano crashed and died at the airport.

Not a good idea to be famous and on a plane in Iowa in bad weather.

Was a nice send off for ole DW Sunday. Love him or hate him, DW has done a lot to make NASCAR what it is today, especially in regards to television. Personally, I like the old coot. Hope he enjoys his much deserved "retirement".
