Things like this are the reason I'm glad that Jayski is back. Just little things that would slip by without them.

Larry Hicks passed away last Saturday. For those who don't remember, Larry Hicks was the gentleman who jumped off his porch, went into a lake and pulled Jack Roush out of his plane that just crashed into said lake back in 2002.

kevin harvick picks up the win today at michigan, with hamlin, larson, truex jr, and suarez rounding out the top five. not much fuel left in the tanks though, logano and bradk ran out, as did a number of other drivers.

Michigan typically isn't a must watch track for me but there were some great battles yesterday, especially between Hamlin/Truex Jr. and Harvick/Logano. Now on to BRISTOL!

Liked yesterday's race a lot. The finish wasn't close but there were a lot of battles during the race. And nice to see Harvick's car get better throughout the race. Many races they are strong to start but pit issues or wrong adjustments take them out of contention. He got lucky as well when his tire went down.

jimmy johnson ended up finishing 34th seven laps down. and with three races to go, suarez is only 6 points below the cut line to make the chase. amazing what a good race for one and a bad race for the other two that were contending for the last position can do to ones fortunes. if suarez can beat bowyer by seven positions over the next three races, and keep ahead of johnson over that time as well, and still run well, he can end up in the chase again.

No, Kulwicki left Knoxville heading to Blountville. This crash was at Elizabethton.

Well south of Bristol and well east of Knoxville. Outside of Johnson City.

That being said.. Kulwicki was the first thing that came into my mind when I read about it.

hamlin and dibenetto had a rousing battle for the last 20 laps of the race tonight, but in the end hamlin just had too much race car for dibenedetto. bradk, kyle busch, and chase elliot round out the top five.
