F1 back to work at Spa this weekend. Hoping for another great race!

Ocon rumored to replace Hulkenberg at Renault next year.

Hulk may replace Grosjean at Haas.

I forget exactly when but in the past several years there was one year that had a camera placed at the top of Eau Rouge that emphasized just how steep the climb is at that point and it was the only time I've seen it. I really don't understand why they abandoned that viewpoint, I thought it one of the best I've seen.

Clearly because they needed the "famous person I have never heard of" cam in the garages and hospitality suites.

Hulkenberg to Red Bull. I mean seriously, I'm surprised he's still got a ride never mind getting one at Red Bull.

Sadly, that's probably true for the current F1 management.

In F2 news, Anthoine Hubert died after a nasty crash during the second lap of Spa. The race was red flagged and never resumed.

Sort of a mess of a race, but I'm pleased with the outcome. Good result for Albon (5th), although he made 3 places up in a last-lap incident. With Verstappen out, he got a chance to do relatively well in his first race for Red Bull without heavy comparisons.

Monza next week.

Gotta feel sorry for Norris who was so close to a great result for both himself and McLaren. And it must surely be bittersweet for LeClerc to notch his first F1 victory the same weekend he loses a friend.

That was the stupidest Q3 I have ever seen. Just ... incompetent. "Farcical" was an autosports journal headline about it.

Interesting the removal of the curbs (okay, "kerbs" since most of the coverage and websites are in the UK) after the horrible accident in F3. I thought the accident was injury-free, since Peroni walked away, but apparently he has a broken vertebra and has been hospitalized.

Another rookie mistake by Vettel. It is just embarrassing to watch.
