Cool video.

Proud to say I was at that last race in 1992. What a race to be at! Petty retiring, Gordon starting, Irvin knocking out Davey, Kulwicki and his Underbird beating out Million Dollar Bill for the Cup. So many storylines...


Davey was such a great driver that I actually disliked him. He was too good for my taste. But dang, you have to give credit where it's due. The guy was a wheelman and he sure clicked at RYR.


Hope he's looking down and smiling on those victories and what he meant to race fans!

Thanks for posting the amazing video. That was around the same time I got into NASCAR. I only wish the sport had the same enthusiasm as it did in the 90's today.
