Maybe a new thread for these guys. I think riding these things is about as pure sport as possible. No aero downforce, high Cg (allowing both wheelies and stoppies) and more power than imaginable. I have never seen an auto race with more passing than a Moto GP or superbike race.

The "corkscrew" at Laguna Seca is awesome in a car. It must be really something on a big bike.

I couldn't agree more MotoGP is GREAT racing, sometimes more on-track passing in one lap than in an entire season of F1.

Lets just guess at the power provided by an 800 cc six cyl two stroke engine. Say 200 Hp? I would hate to trip over the power spike when that thing came on the pipe!

From what I've read I think the 4 strokes are around that level and not all that peaky. Who knows what could be expected from the 2 smokers?

I forget the title but did you happen to see the DVDs about MotoGP?

Rossi's first impression of riding a 2 stroke GP bike was: "Eh.............F**K!"

Pretty nuch sums up the attraction

GREAT RACE at Laguna Seca today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MotoGP has to be the best racing series in the world these days, not a lot of politics, minimal hoopla, no steenking restrictor plates, just good, hard racing!

BRAVO!
