Default Auto racing near Tucson?

Figured I'd post this here rather than on the Tucson board. Help! BF and I are moving from upstate NY to Tucson. He and the kids go to Watkins Glen about a dozen times every summer (I used to go). We also go to Mosport and Mid-Ohio. Like to camp out at the tracks for the weekend events.

Where is there to go "near" Tucson?? He likes open wheel, road racing, sports cars, etc. (sorry, not a big NASCAR fan).

Have map-quested a couple of things - Laguna Seca, Miller Motor Sports park. They seem a bit far...What else is around in fairly decent driving distance?

Thanks in advance!

Firebird raceway in in Chandler, outside of Phoenix. It's just about 2 hours north of Tuscon.

A bit late but figured Id post for anyone else searching...

There is a whole racing complex in SouthWest Tucson. Everything from Nascar to ciricle track, to dirt tracks to kart racing. There is also a dragstrip all within about a mile of eachother.

Try these sites:
Tucson Raceway Park
Southwestern International Raceway
