Disappointing race due to weather, but still another amazing outcome.
On a side note - did you hear what Ferrari said they'd have to spend to redesign the car for the rear diffuser if it turns out to be within the rules? Something like $200 million! Wow. Maybe the teams that were more conservative with their interpretation of the rules will end up just writing this season off?

F1 cost has just gotten completely out of hand, I miss the days of men like Colin Chapman and Ken Tyrell who at times built championship cars in what were not much more than 'back-yard' operations. Now there's talk of Mercedes pulling out, they sure can't be too impressed with Mclaren's shenanigans the last two seasons.
I haven't read all the details about he diffuser issue, apparently it's agreed that the 'questionable' ones are within the letter if not the spirit of the regulations?

Well its really the result of the raing becoming a nrmaly two team evnt really.F1 has become more abouyt teh cars than the drivers or the level of actual racing for years now. Honda isn't loisng much really for the cost.It was a esy decision where the money was better spent.

Rumor mill only, but interesting, Honda looking at Nascar. hmmmm For the price of a single F1 car, posible to have 4-5 Nascar teams.

HONDA always claimed to value Indy/F1 as training grounds for engineers as racinfg demanded quick reaction to new developments. While NASCAR may be relatively cheap I wonder what they think they'd be learning developing pushrod/2V/carbureted engines?
The good news is that along with a US based F1 team in 2010 Lola and Aston Martin are also considering GP teams once again.

Maybe McLaren and Ferrari will take a page from Honda's book and just give up on this season and start developing next year's car?
Nice to hear about Aston Martin and Lola. I can't wait to see the US F1 team out on track.

Oh yeah! This season's been entertaining so far and seems to be proving cubic $$$ guarantee nothing. Hats off to Brawn & Co for their success.
