It wasn't Bill Elliott. But a couple years back one of the S&P teams did just that. That race brought the whole S&P issue to the front burner.

I forget which team it was (Baldwin's maybe), but a couple of weeks ago the Crew Chief said on the prerace interview that they were a S&P team that day. Didn't even try to hide it.
