At least with this crap on tv, I can now get my chores done around the house, unless I need a good nap, then I can watch this crap.

Who makes you watch it? Feel free to watch something that you do like.

One of the major competitors in the NASCAR Truck series, Ron Hornaday Jr., used to race at what used to be my local track, Saugus Speedway, just north of Los Angeles. I've enjoyed watching as he advances in his career, just as I used to enjoy watching him race at Saugus.

Hi! Good to see you my friend! It is fun watching those we have followed from their beginnings! That is probably the biggest reason I still watch NASCAR! Hope CA is treating you well! Say "Hi" from us to everyone!!
And I agree...those short track races, Saugus Speedway, were so much fun!! Good memories!

Ok, I agree about many the complaints regarding much of NASCAR and such but hey guys....we do not have any control over the weather and there is no amount of money that is worth someones life! The race was called due to weather as it should have been!! Period!!

Maybe if they didn't play that stupid concert BEFORE the Race maybe the race would have been done in time. But noooo it's all about the frickin publicity now. And what's with these stupid owners points???!!! That takes out the whole point of qualifying!!!

If the 500 would have started at 12:30-1:00pm est, like it used to, they could have finished the race.

No tar tar, but Monday was presidents day here's a scenario: Post pone the race till Monday and reap all the ad money and beer money on Monday since most people who go to Daytona are from out of town they would have been there on Monday. Rules are rules people and way of thinking are for people who can't think on their own. Point is Nascar want's people like me to watch we'll don't call the Superbowl of races b/c of rain!!!! start up the race on Wednesday if you had to, Matt Kensith won by default how special.
