Watkins Glen, Sonoma, and Darlington. Making left and right turns shows you more driving skill IMO. I think its funny how many substitute drivers come out for the Road Courses.

as for Nascar tracks-Bristol & Martinsville. Not a big fan of big tracks.

others local tracks that are fun-Salem (Indiana), Toledo (Ohio), Kil-Kare (Xenia), Eldora (Ohio).

Atlanta Motor speedway road course
VIR
Beaverun PA
Monticello NY
Indianapolis raceway park road course
Lightning at NJMP
Thunderbolt at NJMP
New Hamphire int'l road course.
LRP Ct.
Summit Point WV
But my favorite to drive is Watkins Glen , NY

My favorite for watching is Bristol TN. (the night races)

Beech Bend Raceway, Bowling Green, KY I know the place as a dragstrip. Stands that put you less than 25 feet from the track. The stands also have a tin roof that echoes a race car like no other place I've been. This facility also has a stock car track, water park amusement park and campground. Multi million dollar expansion planned for 2010 and the nicest owners I have had the pleasure to deal with. Check it out,
