Makes a lot of sense. I daily drive my Elise, which makes my Z06 feel like a Cadillac (and probably would make the Evora feel like a Limo). But when I think about it, what I care about and don't care about in a daily driver is very different than the avg. car buyer

Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it's hard to marry reflex (lightness) with traditional GT luxury (weight).
I can see it being viewed as a DD or GT by other Lotus drivers, but not by many others. Compared to most traditional GTs, it's still pretty hardcore. For better and worse.
blah.. Another euro exotic. Give me an '11 GT500, let EVO work it (quiet easily I may add) to 1000+ hp and gain the respect of every real car enthusiast, not the leather gloves crowd

Wow!Guessing it will never ever make it to the US?
I don't see why it wouldn't, but I'm fairly sure it's made to order and sports a pretty decent price tag. But it's completely road legal etc, and if you can register a Koenigsegg in the states, I don't see why this wouldn't work too.
good grief, that thing is as aerodynamic as a dozen catchers mits.
Well apparently it is (it's very low and sleek, it needs all that air from the ducts to various things.), it's also very very fast.
When supercar hardened reporters from either Top Gear Magazine or Car Magazine (I forget which) got to try a pre production model of this car in Dubai, it scared the crap out of them with it's explosive acceleration.
...And that was when it was running in "safe" mode, with only 600-odd horses available, not the full 1100hp.
