Have no idea what gender my car thinks it is, i just call it the car.

Neither. It is inanimate object, like a toaster oven, a porch swing, or a wet-floor pylon. Unless I am speaking Spanish, when "el carro" is masculine.

My wife and I's current daily driver's are just cars. No gender or name applied. Just tools to use until we are done and discard and get a new one, so I don't want any attachment.


Two cars in my life I've named and assigned a personality. One I still have, the other I sold and regret. I've recently located the car and might make an attempt to buy it back. I still view this car as "mine"

Hubby's Beemer is Jette .. which seems to be a female because she jets here and jets there ....

Chevy square body is Big Red ... because he's big and he's red
