Man, I'd feel pretty dumb right then. $200 is chump change these days and the odds of winning were actually pretty good.

A one in 50 chance of winning a $50,000 car? Yeah that was definitely worth paying $200. I thought gamers were smart, the guy who sold it must be a hacker.....

Let's see, he can maybe sell the car for 45k and will owe maybe 15k in taxes so "ballpark" the prize is worth around 30k.

2% chance of winning x 30k gives the ticket and expected value of $600 or so.

Yeah, $200 was a bit low but oh well....$400-500 would have been a better play especially since most people would value the ticket around 1000 not taking into account taxes etc.
