Rather, blunt, don't you think?
If I told you, the "mystery" would be gone

Nicely done, ShelbyGirl!!

EDIT:

How on Earth do you manage to part with them? Mine are such members of the family. Oh, and if y'all are coming to Barrett Jackson this year bring the "new baby". (You know all the speed cameras on the 101 are gone!)

Beautiful!

All I can say is that those R8's sound absolutely awesome screaming through the canyons of buildings on Wilshire Blvd (LA's West Side; home to every the exotic on earth) Don't know how it will sound in the prairies of Texas but I suggest you find some sort of canyon to tickle your ears at redline.

Have fun.

Wow....didn't your parents ever teach you it's incredibly rude to ask people that? Apparently not.

The rules of politeness do not so much apply online as off. And, since she's made a thread to brag about her new car, why not ask that? Who knows...she could answer. It'd be interesting. I'm guessing either she or her husband are involved in investment banking, hedge funds, or just received a very nice inheritance. Mafiosi and organized criminals do not tend to hang out here.

That is really out of line regardless. Whatever she does for a living is her own business.

It doesn't matter if you ask her in person, online, via Morse code, smoke signals, sign language or grunts...it's still none of your business and very rude to ask.

Sorry if you saw it as a brag.....This is a car forum...I see it as sharing in an incredible experience at a chance to for others to see one of the new "super cars".
And yes, rude is rude.
