Anyone notice the TV commercial about any VIAGRA needs when showing a man driving a overheated car and he stops to pour in some Ice Cold bottled drinking water into the radiator. Now it was not spouting hot water... that Ice cold water could do some engine damage or maybe scalding a persons hand (has happened to me at one time).

I do think the commercial sends two messages...one good and another bad.

Any thoughts?

I think it had two more problems. How did he just pop the cap if it already steaming, and he was just cruising down the open road out in the country why did it overheat (water pump not lack of coolant)?

You're both right, but the point of the commercial is to give older geezers the feeling of being relevant and cool.

I didn't notice any tiny warnings at the bottom of the screen, anyone?

I think that commercial was produced and conceived by some guys who have never seen any steam coming from an engine, would not have any idea what to do if they did. Nice car though.

Hopefully not as much time as what passed between posts in this thread.

The takeaway is: Viagra will make you forget to do preventative maintenance on your car

He's pouring it in an old junk Camaro, there's hardly anything there to hurt.

He's not gonna need Viagra driving a POS Camaro, unless he's also got a girlie mag and a tub of hair gel in the glove box.
