You drank the Kool Aid or bought the hype. Love-fests for products that have a cult following and get butthurt when someone else doesn't like them or has something negative to say about them. Mostly these people have lost touch of what all other products are out there and don't even acknowledge their existence. In the automotive world Honda and Toyota people are the worst!
Looks like it's turning into another American vs. Import thread. It's important not to simply lump the "Big 3" together.
Ford's quality has vastly improved and is on par, if not better, than many of it's foreign rivals. GM and Chrysler on the other hand still have very low quality which does not seem to be getting any better (for many reasons).
We all have our preferences in what we like to drive and what we refuse to ever sit in. Is there any certain vehicle or type of vehicle you refuse to buy?
I for one, will NEVER own a minivan. I don't care how 'practical' or 'efficient' they are...I swore to never own one. Hate the styling, hate the handling, would never buy one. My dad always swore off ever purchasing a foreign automobile, always wanted to buy American. Couple years back bought my mother a Lexus LS but he refuses to drive it, loves his F-150.
Any type of vehicle or brand you simply refuse to own under any circumstances?
I swear I will NEVER own a Chevy Cobalt. I rented one back in June when my car was in the shop for an accident. Geico really knows how to pick cars dont they?
Horrible car to say the least. Slow, not fuel efficient, a/c didnt work right (in the middle of July in Las Vegas )
Was gald to get rid of that car and be in my 2003 Nissan Altima 2.5 S again, which runs and looks brand new at 84,000 miles
I won't buy a Honda, Nissan, or Toyota product. Can't believe people in the US defend buying these things as "American built" when the profits are sent offshore to the land of the Rising Sun.
