As the title implies, what is everyone looking to trade up to within weeks/months/years? Replace the daily driver or purchasing something for some weekend fun?

2012 is the magic year for me when I think I'll take my '05 Corvette for a last run before trading her in. Love my 'Vette but decided I'd like something with a few more comforts and my back isn't in good enough shape to drive in those paper-thin seats for any extended period of time.

Next new vehicle...more than like a Cadillac CTS-V.

Still not sure if I'd want the Coupe or Sedan version though.

Another bike is next. I bought a Suzuki GS500 to learn to ride on, and now I want a big cruiser. I'm thinking Suzuki M109R, M90, C90, Yamaha Roadstar Warrior, or equivalent.

Within the next couple months we will most likely be getting rid of my wife's Avalanche for a 7 passenger vehicle. Not sure what yet, but the GM Lambda vehicles are high on the list.

In a little less than a year when my Malibu is paid off I'm going to be picking up a toy. I've always wanted an Audi TT, so I'm probably going to go that route. Most likely a 2004 with either the upgraded 1.8T or the VR6. It will be more of a project car and I'm looking to build a budget Cayman.

I don't buy new cars, so i'll be looking at the 2012's in 2013 or 2014, once my 2007 audi starts looking like the 2003's do now.

car will be a V6 N/A with sunroof in a deep blue, or jeweltone red, and HID lights are a requirement cause I can't see crap with my incandescent lamps in the boonies out here. foglights, eh, sound of the engine, eh, my only other requirement is a two door because a 4 door is getting a little too pedestrian.

probably looking at a 2012 bmw 3 coupe in 2014, yeah depreciation on bmw's isn't that much in the first 2 years but enough to put it into my price range with money to spare, and thats what i like.

I really like the lines of the new BMW's . Not much changed since the new Bangle design came out but the newer models just have a few different lines that I really like. I will say, I have loved my 3 series. Good choice

After I give up the 2006 3 series to "the teenager" in another 6-8 months I actually might get another BMW. I'd LOOOOOOOVE to have an M6 Convertible. Will not get a new one on that model as they run in the 6 figures . Depending on the car and how long you keep it then getting new is the better way to go. For something like an M6, I'll get one that is about 2-3 years old w/ low miles and still covered under the BMW warranty.

Saw the new Aston Martin Rapide the other day....... I'm in love.

In about 7 years (trying to maximize my cars life as much as I can), I will look at getting something else. Not sure yet what since its hard to tell what's going to happen then. I just want something reliable, at a good price, can fit in my garage and gets good enough gas mileage.

A Nissan Altima, Toyota Camry, or a Hyundai Sonata for a family sedan, and for a gas saving runabout, a Nissan Cube, Nissan Versa, Toyota Yaris, or Honda Fit.

Yuck. You do realize that you'll never recoup the amount of money spent on your run about in potential fuel savings right? And doesn't an Altima or Camry get 30 mpg anyway?
