In your opinion, not a fact.

Don't ever say a "car is a car" whenever you are with car enthusiasts! And if you ever meet Jay Leno, don't say it to him, either!

Generic white '97 Lumina LX sedan former rental car.

My car says I'm thrifty, way past caring about what's popular, to cheap to get a paint job, and that I spill a lot of coffee on the passenger seat.

2007 Blue Nissan Sentra.
My car probably says I love my dog a lot (hence the Schnauzers rule the road decal sticker on the side), and I like fitness (Planet Fitness sticker on the back window) and that you better not steal by car in the wee hours of the morning (HEAT sticker from Texas program to prevent auto theft).
As for the model itself, that I am concerned with saving money on gas, I need basic transportation and I keep my car very clean in the inside.

Some cars are, for some people. For others, we find them an end unto themselves. I like kinetic sculpture...rolling artwork. Fast cars let you rise above the limitations of life through speed. Custom cars let you express your artistic tendencies. I find it fun to build cars, to mold them and make them expressions of an idea. I find driving them to be fun, not just to get to point B, but to get to noplace in particular.

te fact that you think they aren't and can't be anything more than just a tool to get you to someplace you have to be is sad, and a bit boring and self limiting.

It means you've never done this:

Just for the fun of it. it means youve never owned or driven something like these:

because it was pretty. You've never driven a car like this:

like I did there just because it was a thrill to do so, bombing around Scottish B roads.

Frankly, I don't know why you'd even post on an automotive forum when you so obviously don't know cars at all.

A "fact" based on what? Sounds more like an opinion, as I said before.

What do you think of that statement ?
That statment tells you all you needed to know that guy wasn't worth it. Did you marry him?

By the way, didn't we just do this exact topic a short time ago?

My 2010 Ranger says I'm not a big status guy, but I like the ability of a truck none the less. Our 2008 Patriot allows us to haul our Mastiff (and groceries) around efficiently.
