I have always loved ''Grampa cars." I had a 1997 Seville which I would have kept had it not suffered form the Northstar ailments. I bought a 2007 Altima which I love and plan to keep even after I pay for it. Granted it's not a Grandpa car. Once I hit mid 40's or close to 50 (I'm 40 now) I will consider a grandpa car, which is what I truly always wanted.

You can also add the Crown Vics & Marquis. The downside with them is that they are the hot item now to have a set of 22's and tint added.
I love them and may add one as a DD when my current one dies.

OP cars are cool.
But it's like a big sign saying "I gave up on life and from now on I am caring about my prostate comfort"

old people like minivans becuse they are easy to get in and out of; they're tall vehicles, so they don't have to bend in and climb out, and they have lower ground clearance than an SUV, so they don't have to climb up.

This board has an unusual percentage of people that like these cars.
I don't like any of them. I don't pillow soft rides. I don't like tires that squeal on cloverleaf at 30 MPH. I don't like bench seats. I don't like speedometers that are 1 foot wide, nor big digital speedometers. I don't like 19 ft. long cars. I don't care that most of them are American brands. Most of them have too much chrome and silliness like fake fender vents.
The soft seats are like a bed that's too soft. I end up more tired on a long drive than I am in the outstanding buckets of my NSX.
The only time I like these cars is when I am in the back seat, being driven somewhere.

Almost all the things you mention disliking I personally like. I usually drive alone (or with two other people max), but the length of these cars is good when you get groceries or have a large item in the back (and don't get me started about the trunk space). I would like smaller used luxury cars that are actually affordable and get better gas mileage, but seemingly only European carmakers produce these, and you well know how they're priced (and are very expensive to repair in the U.S. even after you buy them). I love pillow soft rides. If I want to actually feel the terrain, I'll go on a bicycle ride (although even in that case, I enjoy a plush seat). The digital speedometers I have mixed feelings about : on one hand, many cars with these also provide additional valuable information about fuel efficiency and the like, but on the other, if it breaks, you're SOL. And I love chrome
But you are entitled to your own tastes, as the old Latin maxim goes: "De gustibus non est disputandem". Personally, I was even surprised to see so many posts in agreement with my original post.

Bascailly the lkarge luxury cars have come and gone for themass market buyer. Just as i see more and more mini vnas which lead me to choose it for the roo and confort. Bascailly its much better than my past SUVs and trucks. There is no compoarison in the ride and handling either plusd great room with much better milage. Fro waht I see the Mini van market is heating up again for same reasons it started. gret room ;great ride with decent mileage.

I couldn't see ever driving my Corvette or a vehicle like your NSX on a long roadtrip anywhere! I already have enough body aches, no need to feed my pain receptors! Would much rather take a large vehicle such as a DTS for a long roadtrip than I would a low-slung and uncomfortable sports car.
