200K is still 200K. The parts wear.... or do they have some magic pixy Toyota dust on them? Besides that, the Expedition has parts much easier to get and cheaper because it is a SUV F-150.

In this particular case of "this" part it is a few bucks more BUT......... notice that the Expedition is IN STOCK for shipment or store pick-up. The Land Cruiser is SPECIAL ORDER for store and or shipment only. We can do this ALL FREAKING day!

Well...... I can wait! Why you are jacking around and praying that they send the RIGHT part and won't have to send it back for an exchange, I'll be back on the road in a few. I'll have to send you some pics of the big bluegills I'm catching while relaxing with my thoughts! LMAO

Someone in that situation needs to be shopping for the most practical package that meets their needs, not necessarily what they want.
Exactly. This person isn't in a position of want, it's all about need.

I wouldn't spend nearly $10K on a 200K vehicle as a daily driver. Maybe as a weekend toy, with the understanding that it would need repairs, but not as something I depend on every day.

A buddy bought a used Lexus LX470, roughly the equivalent to the Land Cruiser, and is now nearing 200K on it. It was flawless when he bought it and meticulously maintained since. At least every couple months, something needs to be worked on. He is a DIYer and gets parts at wholesale through a friend of ours, but it's still a matter of time and inconvenience. No matter who builds it, at 200K (or less, depending on the vehicle), things are going to start breaking or wearing out.

The LandCruiser is nearly indestructible, used all over the world in the harshest conditions.

The Expedition is larger with the build quality of a tissue.

SUV brother to the #1 Truck. I bet they got #1 by being a tissue.

Sales don't mean its better every time. THe Expedition can't hold a candle to a LC outside of space.

There is a REASON the LC is used worldwide. It is the only SUV to reach the NORTH and SOUTH poles. Its history is legendary.

The Expedition is a profit maker for Ford gussied up to be a SUV. Newer ones are much better built. Older ones FALL APART. The LC is PURPOSE BUILT to be indestructible.
