I own a 2002 Explorer XLT V-6 with 63,500 miles on it and love it. Never had a problem with it. I do the regular oil change/maintenace stuff and that's all. I get plenty of power, cruises along at 75 mph easily and at that speed I get 24 mph on the hwy. In town I get 18-20 mph. I like the way the rear seats fold down that gives you pleanty of room to carry things.
The only thing I've had to do is just this past month at 63,00 miles is to put on new tires, new brakes and new struts. It rides like a dream.
The only bad part, gas costs $2.98 a gal right now.
