What I'm noticing are the huge wheels. Its common to see new cars today with 18" wheels from the factory. Back in the 90's people considered 16" to be big.

High beltlines, small greenhouses and gun-slit windows all lead to a claustrophobic feeling inside.

See: Taurus, Camaro, 300, etc.

All in the name of "safety" (real or perceived). More likely in the name of fashion.

More power & fuel efficiency from V-6's for sure. Current Mustang gets 31 highway with a 305hp V-6. Word is Ford has a 375hp V-6 in the works that may be able to hit 38mpg in a car similar to the Mustang.

I remember back in the 90's most V-6's were like 180hp and got maybe 25mpg highway.
