As others have mentioned, it shouldn't really matter to a person what other PEOPLE think in regards to their vehicle. I drive a Ford Focus and could care less if people state it's a "girl" car. My response, "I never knew cars had a gender". Unlike other kids, I had to pick a car based on PRICE, not color, model number, or year.

Well, you can bet a bra for some cars. I got my current car because I wouldn't have to get new dedicated feet for my Thule roof rack. It was the same body style but a couple of years newer, and it was the only color they had. For me, cars are just bike accessories.

I've driven a car that smoked ('52 Ford), a car that leaked oil ('61 Corvair) and a car that looked funny ('75 Pacer) and I was not embarrassed. However, I once rode to work with a neighbor, and he constantly cut off other cars and tailgated, and I remember being very embarrassed while in that car, which was a Honda. So, put me down for Hondas.

"What car would I be embarrassed to be seen in?"

Anything with a fart-can muffler, ginormous rear spoiler, lowered, or riding on "20's".

ANYTHING made in Detroit. The WORST would be a Hummer. Living proof of American excess, except in the pants of the Hummer driver.

I would not be embarrassed to drive in any car EXCEPT for the VW new Beetle.
