Who here drives a old car 20 yrs or older as their primary & only mode of transportation ? Mine is 26 yrs old (85 olds).

Also does the polaroid pic of my car taken in the late 90s look poor & blurry ? Polaroid pics dont scan well.

My daily driver also is an Oldsmobile, its a 1989 Olds 98 Regency. GM must have been doing something right back in the 80s.

My 1991 Ford Escort just turned 20 this year. She has been a daily driver for nearly 4 years now and has not broken down once. I got her for only $500 on Craigslist. The difference with you guys is she gets 35 miles to the gallon which I know the Oldsmobile's can not match.

Thats very good mpg for a 20 yr old car. Your car may not be pretty or a ladies magnet but i would trade you in a heartbeat. Do you have & use a/c in vegas during your long scorching summers ?

Until recently I drove a 1967 Volvo 122 wagon as a daily driver. Everything was available for the 40 year old car, the internet has made having old cars even easier. Gas mileage was decent at 28+ mpg. After my friend passed away I had to do much of the maintenance myself, he owned a garage catering to Volvos.

Have two vehicles I drive regullary. One is a 1989 Suburban with 285,000+ miles and the other is an 2005 Ford Freestyle. I like them both equally well, they just do totally different jobs for me, neither of which the other can do as well.

Those on the road seem to keep going. But my 89 buick died at 120k miles. Pathetic.

Unfortunately, no AC. However, I work nights so it does not bother me too much.
