Brand new 57 Ford sunliner convertible.
Fresh out of high school. and paid cash.
I went to work at age thirteen, and saved every dime I ever made, so that when October of 1956 rolled around, I had the first 57 Ford in my town.
Loved that car.
The picture isn't the one I had, but mine was just like this one except the color.

Bob.

1991 Chevrolet Camaro in the summer of 1995 @ age 19. I paid $7400 cash for it with my savings. It had 21K actual miles and engine/transmission wise it was perfect, but ended up being a piece of crap. Had been in a severe crash and I didnt know it until it was too late. Sold it in February of 1997 for $2900 (had 39K miles) at a major loss, telling the buyer that it had been previously crashed. I then went on March 1, 1997 and purchased a 1984 Toyota 4wd truck.

Here is a pic of it the week I purchased it in 1995 - the car was 4 years old here. Thats me holding my "baby" cousin who is now 16 years old and just purchased a new truck (2005 Ford F150) of his own. His new truck now sets where the Camaro is setting in that pic. lol.

Me, too, but I beat you. I got mine in the fall of '58. I think it cost 50 bucks. The Fleetline was, maybe, the most beautiful car the Americans ever made. Mine was black, like this:
