I don't think gas prices are going to go down significantly or for keeps ever again.

I am purchasing my next vehicle with good fuel economy as a must-have criterion.

Walked by a station here in SF today and saw $4.29/gal for regular.

My car needs premium, which is $4.49 :/

Oh well. California still kicks ass

Default Ah, $4.00 a gallon gas...yes, I remember those good old days

Regular is $1.348 per liter in US funds ($5.035 per US gallon) here in the Greater Vancouver area and shows no signs of going down anytime soon - if ever. And we have more gas taxes being added on July 1st. Methinks it's time to switch back to propane again ($0.598 per liter/$2.264 per US gallon). And, LPG is 114 octane!

In Seattle area most are at about $3.89, but I found a 7-11 the other day still at $3.59 and filled up all 3 cars. Since then it's gone up to $3.62 but that's still much less than the others. I have not seen $4 yet except for premium and diesel.
