Hmmm...local jurisdiction cancels tickets to prevent tournament from moving elsewhere. So it's not really about "safety", just revenue. And Hamilton already had an image problem before...

Sure am glad those cameras are illegal in Indiana. One city thought they were special and were going to install them anyway but the state told them no way!!!! Do have to watch for them when I am in Illinois though, they are EVERYWHERE there.

They should be banned everywhere, especially the red light ones, those are really dangerous. I have been nearly rear ended several times now.

Want to get rid of them? Call you state representative, individual towns won't do it. They should be banned at the state level.

AMEN, Richb!!! At the risk of beating a dead horse, I'd LOVE to have anyone who thinks they're a good idea ride with me in an empty tractor trailer on a wet road. With the nearly-always-shortened yellow light times, you have two choices in that situation:

- Slam on the brakes and hope like H-E-double L that you don't jacknife.

- Run the light, hope you don't kill someone and pay the BIG fine.

Some choice, huh?
