I am looking to replace the stock Michelin tires on my Si with something a little more hi-perf. Anyone on here have the Conti ExtremeContact? Worth the investment?

a nice set of nitto 555 is the best bet mounted on a light set of forged aluminum racing wheels for the best bang for the buck in performance then have a nice solid all-season OEM type tire mounted on the stock rims for the winter/rainy months

I've got the Conti Extreme Contact RWS tires and I've been really happy with them.

Yes I do. They'e on my Scion xB and I LOVE them! Great traction (dry or wet), good wear, non-directional (great for wear). I liked them so much I put a set on my wife's 04 Accord.

Check TireRack and you'll find they come highly recommended.

Mike

I've got them on my Mercedes, and they are great, wet or dry (except snow, but they are summer tires and they are on a rwd coupe). I can take a nice sharp turn at 60 and the tires will just stick to the pavement. Road noise is minimal, and the tread life is pretty good. Only bad thing is they are kinda expensive.

I have the DWS on my Altima SE-R, does great in snow, rain, and all weather. Seriously love them and the wear is exceptional.

We had Conti's (don't remember what exact model they were) on my wifes Caliber RT. They were the absolute worst tires she and myself had ever had on a car. They wore fast, got noisier as they wore and the belts started shifting in them , causing a thumping sound. On the side wall you could see they were starting to crack, like they were dry rotting. A co worker had them on his Ford 500 and the same exact things where happening to his as well.
We replaced my wifes tires with Hankooks and it was like a completely different car. I will never go with the Conti's again.
