How many gallons do you use a month? Yes, do include gas for both personal and business use.

Since we're both retired both my vehicles sit idle unless we want/need to leave our small town. For any in town transport needs it's a bicycle or feet.

By using bicycles we cut our gas consumption to no more than 15 gal per month combined for both vehicles. What kills us is in the summer mowing the yard with my Deere rider is going to be expensive this year.

Stop wasting fuel and buy a push mower.

I own four cars ('66 Plymouth Fury VIP w/383-4 bbl, '69 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham, '76 Cadillac Fleetwood Seventy-Five Limousine and '95 Lincoln Town Car).

None of them are driven daily and it may be hard to believe, but I estimate I use only about 20 gals of fuel per month. When I refill, I usually only put in $20 dollars worth, which comes to 5-7 gals depending on the price per gallon. And I usually do 3 refills per month.

Probably between 20 and 30. Roadtrips lately have brought it up some. During a regular month with just the commute and grocery getting and such, maybe 16-20? I have no idea, doubt it's over 35 though.

I generally fill up my tank once per week, about 10 gallons each time. So for me, the gas usage is probably 40-45 gallons per month. My car gets about 25 miles to the gallon.

La Máquina Verde (Toyota Corolla) | Fuelly
The Lady in Red (Nissan Versa) | Fuelly

When I'm in school I use 2 gallons a day commuting. Otherwise maybe 10 miles a day going here and there. In the year and a half I owned my last car I average 35 miles a day, that included 2 semesters of commuting.
