How about a link to the "Boston news story"?

Because maybe it's just me but this product looks sort of bogus and spammy.

This has been addressed before, both here on the forums and by several independent testers. It has no effect on the gas mileage at all.

Well, OK. They interviewed one soccer-mom type who said it saved her a mile or two per gallon, and one other dude who said the same thing. That's all they have for evidence - two people who claim this device works?

Ask a mod to lock it.

Typical CD post in Automotive (and elsewhere):

Poster: Has anyone ever heard of "some product"?

Response: That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. What evidence do you have of that? Anyone who asks a question like that must know nothing about cars.

No one would ever speak that way IRL. But hiding behind a computer screen its easy to be mean.

If someone asks me a stupid question I would certainly let them know. It's for their own good. On top of that, the comments so far has been very mild and no where near as harsh as your example (which is still not too harsh).
