Just saw a segmet on the news in Boston and they said this works.

Well, OK. They interviewed one soccer-mom type who said it saved her a mile or two per gallon, and one other dude who said the same thing. That's all they have for evidence - two people who claim this device works?

If someone asks me a stupid question I would certainly let them know. It's for their own good. On top of that, the comments so far has been very mild and no where near as harsh as your example (which is still not too harsh).
