Honestly the new ones are all impressive horsepower-wise, and the Camaro and Callenger look better on the outside, but I can't stand those high beltlines and gunslit windows on the inside- feels like you are in a coffin. Mustang has it all, decent exterior, nice interior with a taller greenhouse and great power and handling.
Having driven all but the new 392 hemi challenger (have driven several 6.1 cars). I would buy the mustang if it had to be a daily driver. The Camaro if it was a weekend toy.
Don't get me wrong. I like the Challenger but it's just not in the same league as the other two.
i prefer the vintage cars, mustangs first and foremost, with firebirds, and then challengers. i am not a camaro fan of any generation, especially the new one. it sort of looks like a 69 that has been chopped, badly, and in general fuglyed up. the new challenger looks the best of the three, but as noted it is too heavy. and while i like the new mustang, it still has styling issues.
People complain about Chargers being 4 doors, but as big as the Challenger is imagine how big a Charge coupe would be. Maybe they will come out with a Cuda in which case it would be traditionally smaller.
Mustang wins easily. not even a contest.
It still looks classic. It is mean, low, wide, and sounds amazing. Its well built and handles well. It is also lighter and faster. The Camaro just looks like it tries too hard. The challenger is too fat.

i guess you are forgetting just how big the charger was back in the late 60s and early 70s.
personally i think the charger should have remained a 2dr, but dodge could have called the 4dr car the coronet.
I come from a family of mustang lovers and I love the new 5 liters. If I can't get a 67 or 68 fastback then I'm buying a mustang with a coyote engine. The mustang aftermarket has always been huge so the new mustang owners have plenty of options to personalize their rides. I still break my neck checking out Challengers and Camaros but my heart belongs to Ford.
