Nice, kudos to the young man who built it.

It would need bigger and wider wheels though, and the back end of the car doesn't seem right. But still, I guess 90% of the people will be fooled into thinking this is a genuine Veyron .

No he did not build a "million dollar Bugatti supercar by hand." He built a cheap and painfully slow knockoff by hand.

Great workmanship, but 170HP under the hood is FAIL. At least build it off a C5Z or something.

He's trying to sell it for $90k on ebay right now. LOL

I can't believe the criticism. Most of us couldn't build a Hyundai Excel. I'm impressed by the shear craftmanship involved and imagination required. Who cares if it's 10 cylinders off and nearly a thousand horses behind.

Ok, what he did was impressive, but he didnt build a Bugatti supercar. He built a car that looks like a Bugatti, but it is far from a supercar. Not knocking him down, but title is misleading.

Nobody is obligated to admire a turd no matter how polished it is. Workmanship notwithstanding, it strikes me as incredibly ill-conceived to waste it all on a Mercury Cougar platform. Besides which it was primarily the bullshyte headline I was objecting to.

People waste money on things that others view as incredibly foolish all the time. I'm VERY impressed by the car, amazing what an imagination and hard work can accomplish. I'm really wondering if he'll get a job offer from some major auto manufacturer after this stunt, maybe someday he'll make enough to buy a REAL Veyron!
