My hubby was one of the ones in Collier County handing out those tickets!!
Left lane Sunday drivers must be my absolute biggest pet peeve. Other than drinking and driving.

Why don't you beep your horn at them and tailgate them until they move?

Because with a lot of these creeps the only thing that will actually get them to move over is flashing red and blue lights. The reason they're hogging the left lane in the first place is because they're clueless, which means they're also clueless about why you're flashing your lights and honking at them.

Very unfortunately I've seen plenty not move for flashing lights of any color. That sets me off on another planet. Think they'd feel bad if they got home and found out the ambulance they were holding up in traffic was trying to save their family member? Freaking jerks. It's that entitlement attitude that's so prevalent today. I'm entitled to drive in the passing lane and hold up everyone else on the road because I pay taxes and the world revolves around me and my Prius. I'd love to requisition a military gun for the hood of my car.

Agreed with the OP 100%.
Every time I have to creep past an accident during rush hour, I secretly hope that the person who caused it (assuming they're a LLH) is seriously mangled, condemned to spend life in a bed having to blink Morse code as their only way of communication.

Reading through some of these threads that discuss driving habits just makes me want to weep.
