A jasper engine or so might be an option...

But once again that depends on rest of the car.

The key points of looking at a car IMO is what realistic life expectancy does the AC have, the Tranny have, and the engine have.

If the tranny and AC are original, its not realistic to think they will last another 75k or more. So you will realistically have to invest more money into the car. And being as high as that... little things will be an issue.

If its a manual transmission and the car has few options... I would trust the car to be a little more reliable.
