The nicest or most expensive I have driven was a Bentley Turbo R. The seats were like a Lazy Boy and the floor mats were like shag carpet. It was more plush than my living room. The power from that engine was so smooth.
Speaking of smooth I also drove a Jaguar XJS I think it was or an XKE I don't remember but it had a V10 under the hood and it moved along like a dream.
The fastest car I have ever driven is the replica of a 1965 Cobra I built. I mostly just putt around in it but it can still scare me.
I worked at complete auto transport in Norwood in 1984, we transported some GM cars, drove a lot of Trans-Ams and Z-28s. We did not handle Corvettes, Cadillacs, Chevettes, pick up trucks or vans.
Mine was a 2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 when I was only 17! I got up to 130MPH! I will never forget it.
Late model S-class AMG and a C6 Vette 6 speed are a pretty close tie. A Lexus RX330 is a distant second... I had that car for all of a week before someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse, and I sold it. I loved the refinement... Just wished it was a car instead of an SUV so it could have been better on gas.
But the car I broke my land speed record in? A 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix... go figure.
Honestly it's the car I have right now - 2007 Chrysler 300C AWD Hemi. I've had a 1970 & 1972 Chevy Nova, Mercury Sable Wagon, Ford Taurus wagon, a 1993 & 1997 Town Car, Grand Marquis, Mercury Lynx, older Toyota Corolla, Villager mini van (think I'm forgetting a couple).
Nothing comes close to the blend of luxury and power of the 300C based on the cars I've had to date.
Of course I know there are cars out there I might like better. Always wanted a Corvette for instance. But for now, I'm at my happiest, and 200,000+ miles on it.
Nicest car I've driven... Hmm. I drove a Ferrari F430 when they came out, that was seriously sexy.
But I think the car that really did it for me was a 1992 Jaguar XJ220. That car just seemed otherworldly, would have loved to have really opened it up but it was just a short drive, never got above 60 mph.
