It looks like very few people have ever enjoyed the thrill of driving a Nissan Maxima, the 4 door sports car that takes off like a rocket. Think Infinity G35 only lighter and more nimble. And I'll say it again:

I have had nearly 100 old Cadillacs over the years, but my all time favorite cars to drive are a 1964 Caddy (any style) or a 1976 Eldorado Convertible.

For a "late model" car, my favorite would be a 1991 Cadillac Brougham d'Elegance.

Good choices! Yes, fortunately, there are still people like us.

'96 was the last year the english were allowed to produce it without "interference from Ford Motor Co's engineering dept."

Ford bought Jaguar in '90, and the XJS got completely re-engineered with Ford money in '91. The facelifted '91-96 cars were all due to Ford's influence. That money is a big part of why the '91-96 cars are the best of the XJ-S models built.

Yes! Sadly, I was too young to purchase at the time. But I would have loved to have driven the mid-90s to early 2000s maximas. I also would have loved to have driven the Mitsubishi 3000 gt.

This is the most exciting list.. ever! OK, I was kidding.
I owned a MINI Cooper S convertible that was fun in twisty roads. My 1992 Peugeot 405mi16 was also tossable and fun to drive.

Right now I drive a boring but practical 1992 Dodge Grand Caravan that is now in great shape
after so mechanical/asthetic upgrades. But I hope to graduate up to a Dodge Durango SRT/8
someday...
