That was Plymouth. Wasn't the Challenger the Dodge version of the Cuda anyway?
It was a Plymouth. But Dodge is considering bringing it back since Plymouth doesn't exist anymore.
I have no idea if they did how different it would be to the Challenger. Obviously there would have to be some significant differences. Although one thought was they would bring it back if they stopped making the Challenger.

Maybe the Cuda should just be a performance beast that is very limited production. The biggest Hemi engine with a 5 speed tranny. No AC, crank up windows, no radio. Factory installed roll bar for the race track.
Except for the Challenger and Mustang, we would agree on that right?
The Mustang isn't a recycled name, as it hasn't been out of production since it came out in '64.

The Charger is a terrible remake.
Except for 4 doors, it's a better version of the nemsake than any other Charger since '72. I mean, for a while., it was a FWD 4cyl car, remember?

The Camaro is a great remake of the '67-69 versions, with better suspension and more power, while looking like a modern custom version of the original (much like how the Challenger is a modern custom version of the original and much larger than the original)
Can I get "rich Corinthian leather" in my Dart or do I need to wait for them to bring back the Cordoba first? I can't wait for the Omni or Cricket to make a come back!

Now that would be cool.
That would be cool. But they already have a race ready Challenger right?

Wow, that was one ugly Charger. Slow as heck too unless in the 2.2L Turbo Shelby version. Basicly that Charger was a Dodge Omni with a "sporty" body. The Omni was also slow unless you had the Shelby GLH or GLH-S models which were also the 2.2L Turbo.
I'm looking forward to seeing what Fiat can do in this JV. Most small Chryslers up until now were developed by/copied from or had some major influence from Mitsubishi or Hyundai.
I had the 73 Dart with slant 6 and fold down rear seat, new,it was nothing but trouble, sold it back to dealer for one half of what I paid, been with toyota ever since.
