I do find those CEL's are very robust. I have a few cars over 300K with CEL glowing as brightly as when it first came on (well under 100k). years later... same ole story...

Change the blinker fluid and muffler bearings and you'll be good to go.

That question, devoid of any information that is actually helpful, is the automotive equivalent of phoning your doctor and saying..."I have a pain somewhere in my body. What is wrong with me?"

If you really want help from anyone via cyberspace, you need to tell us the following--at least for starters:
  • Current odometer mileage
  • Complete maintenance history--in detail
  • Whether the light is steadily illuminated, or if it blinking/flashing
  • The specific trouble codes that the OBD system has stored
  • What type of noises you are hearing, and what the circumstances are when you hear them
If you don't know what the trouble codes are, you can go to an auto parts retailer (Auto Zone, Advance Auto, possibly Napa), and have the codes read, free of charge. The codes will be in a format similar to "P0123".

Seems our op has abandoned his/her topic and we at this point are just wasting time responding to a topic the op doesnt even find worthy of responding to..How much will it cost to fix your engine? no way to tell.

Some of the funniest threads I've seen on here are troll threads because nobody cares if they get hijacked
