But, there's alway 95 and 295 around Providence, the Mass Pike, 287, the Tappan Zee bridge after you clear the toll booth (not to mention the Throgs Neck and Whitestone..who doesn't like to speed across big bridges? ) Heck, even the BQE and LIE offer opportunities at night!
Don't laugh, I know people who've gotten speeding tickets on those bridges, or the approaches to and from them.

One of the best drives in my life was coming from Washingtion DC up to Connecticut about 12 years ago. I timed it so it took place early on a Sunday morning. There was almost no traffic, and I just cruised along at 85-90 mph up the empty roads. I saw some cops with people pulled over, but it was always on the other side. I wouldn't have slowed down even if I'd been guaranteed a ticket.

I maintained a good speed until well up into New Jersey (NJ Turnpike), when the traffic started getting heavier and slowed me down.

A good speeding road here is I-84 in CT between Hartford and the Massachusetts State Line. And early in the morning on a Sunday, the Mass Pike is great. If I go to Boston, I try to time my return for early Sunday morning so I can get that good bit of speeding in.

I don't feel that my driving skills are up to 100+ mph driving. Things happen pretty quickly at that speed, and I'm not sure my reaction time is up to it. I want to have fun, not crash.

Mmmmmm. A Quadruple Bypass Burger with a side of Flat-liner fries from the french fry bar (salads are for sissies) with a total intake of about 8000 calories, most of it from fat (everything is cooked in real butter!), a check of my vital signs by the attendant "nurses," and I'd be happily on my way to Mormon country.
The Chandler location location is closed.

They recently opened one in Dallas, but I haven't been there. Nothin' but the original for me!
And it looks like the Dallas one is closed too.

Man, that's no lie. I was heading back to Texas from Vegas a few years ago. I was running 100-105 between the Hoover Dam and Kingman, AZ and still getting passed. Good times.

US-93 is a great road to fly on. There's almost nothing out there, it's mostly straight as an arrow and the only towns along the way are Grasshopper Junction and Santa Claus. Believe me, there ain't much in either of them. In fact, the last time I went that way, Santa Claus was long closed.

Yes, it does..doesn't it? And besides, I haven't been across the dam since they closed it to truck traffic right after 9/11. The new downstream bridge oughta be worth a look-see too.
