I'd say $2500 tops, its too weak to tow, it not a quadcab. Which not everyone needs but doesn't help the value, and sorry 180k is pushing the life on any vehicle, especially on one that doesn't have a bulletproof history.
I would say on the 2002 Honda Passport, they will come down from the asking price. I bet you could get it for $4,800. Passports are decent vehicles, they had a few issues but nothing major. There are certainly better vehicles to consider.
As for the Frontier. It looks clean and well cared for, and Frontiers aren't bad trucks but they really don't excel at anything. The 4 cylinder automatic is underpowered, but reliable. I had a 98 Frontier and was satisfied with it.
If I paid $3,700 for that Frontier I would feel like I gave the absolute maximum fair price, even though Kelly Blue Book says $4,000 to $4,200 on one in very good to excellent condition.
At $3,700 I wouldn't feel screwed, but I wouldn't just feel like I got a really good deal either. Someone said $2,500 is all that truck is worth, but go out looking for a $2,500 truck and see what you find.
I think if the Frontier has been maintained well, it still has some life in it. Be aware that some of the Frontiers have a faulty radiator that can leak into the transmission, causing it to fail. I would see if the radiator has been replaced.
Sorry, I just realized my answer was a little douchy, I agree with the guy who said $2500, the car is not terribly attractive as far as equipment goes and the milage is high enough that it could be a problem.
Nope. Both that Fronty and the Tacoma are $200ish trucks. The Taco being 15 years old, the Fronty having miles. As a reference, my 2003 F150 with 188k miles is worth about $3000 if I sold it, according to Edmunds TMV. More capable than those trucks, even with a v6. That $5200 is another instance of a CL seller firing up the crackpipe. Or believing KBB and its out of date pricing.
The Passport not only is a junk Isuzu, that engine has valvetrain issues and likes to ingest oil as well. Don't find out yourself why Isuzu is no longer making passenger vehicles in this market.
