what's screw size on doorhandle of Subaru Forester (vehicle, replace, repair)

I need to replace the missing screws attached to the inside doorhandle of my 2002 Subaru Forester. Since it's necessary to take the armrest, etc, off in order to get inside to the doorhandle, I'd like to know beforehand what size screw is required. I bought the vehicle used, and didn't have it long enough to check everything out before shipping it over here to Ethiopia. I have a repair manual (Hansen's I think), but it isn't in-depth enough to say what size the screw should be.

I realize this is a kind of picky thing, but I figured if anyone knew, then it would be someone on this forum. Those loose handles really bug me!

Now, I get to answer my own question: The screw size for the door handle is a size 7 hex screw. Couldn't take the suspense and annoyance of having a loose handle, so this past weekend finally took the door panel off to investigate. Happily, the screw had only come loose and fallen down inside the door panel. It was easy to retrieve. Unhappily, it was nearly impossible to reattach the panel. Probably spent close to 3 hours trying to do so, and a simple project turned into an afternoon of intense frustration. End result: The handle is secure, and I know what size screw is used to make. it so.
